In the clip, one by one seven women walk into the frame and as each one joins the others, a number signifying how much weight they have lost appears on the screen. When Slaton joins, “- 500lb” pops up.
“Truly absolutely amazing ladies and I’m happy to call y’all my friends,” Slaton continued. “I’m so proud of each and everyone [sic] of y’all not only are you beautiful on the inside but your [sic] gorgeous on the outside never forget.”
Slaton first appeared on 1000-Lb. Sisters with her sister Amy Slaton Halterman when the series premiered in January 2020. At her heaviest, the 38-year-old weighed 725 pounds.
Slaton began her transformation with a 14-month stay in a weight loss facility followed by bariatric surgery in July 2022. Since then she has continued to document her weight loss journey on social media.
In December 2023, Slaton shared with People that she was down 440 pounds and had accomplished something that many people may consider small, “but to me it was huge.”
“Just being able to walk without a walker or be pushed in a wheelchair, and no oxygen. I don’t even sleep with it at night anymore. Then it was being able to fit in a regular vehicle, front seat, and then the belt buckle and not having to use an extender now. So I mean, just what seems minor to people, is giant to me.”
Her latest post on TikTok is the most recent update fans have received about her weight loss journey.
