While The Firm are notoriously tight-lipped where it concerns releasing sensitive information to the media, the fact that there has been no picture of Kate at all since her hospitalization in late January has been a point of concern in some quarters.
Now, is it impossible that the future Queen simply wants to exercise her right to privacy and recover on her terms? Absolutely not, though a maelstrom of other unfortunate events plaguing the Royal Family are hardly helping paint an optimistic picture.
Firstly, there’s King Charles to consider. The monarch, who waited longer than any other heir apparent in history to ascend the throne, was diagnosed with an unspecified form of cancer earlier this month after undergoing treatment on an enlarged prostate.
Unlike Kate’s journey to recovery, Charles’s has been well-documented thus far. The King has been photographed numerous times traveling between London (where he’s undergoing treatment) and the royal estate of Sandringham.
Then there’s Prince William’s decision to withdraw from a planned appearance at a memorial for his late godfather, King Constantine of Greece. Earlier this week it was reported that the Prince of Wales had “personal matters” to attend to, prompting rumors that his absence may have had something to do with his wife.
Last, but certainly not least, there’s the sudden passing of Tom Kingston, husband of Lady Gabriella Windsor. Gabriella is the daughter of the late Queen Elizabeth’s first cousin, Prince Michael of Kent.
As per reports, Mr Kingston wed Lady Gabriella, 42, in 2019 in a ceremony attended by both Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip.
The Daily Mail say that paramedics were called to the home of Kingston’s parents in Gloucestershire, UK. His passing is not being treated as suspicious.
With all that going on it’s hardly a wonder that people are wondering how Kate Middleton is doing, especially since she hasn’t been pictured since before her surgery.
